Palpita vitrealis (Rossi, 1794) and Lygephila craccae ([Denis & Schiffermüller], 1775) - Lepidoptera New for the Fauna of Albania

Abstract

In August and September of 2006 Lepidoptera belonging to 25 species from 7 families were gathered in Albania. Two species of Lepidoptera new for the fauna of that country Palpita vitrealis (Rossi, 1794) and Lygephila craccae ([Denis & Schiffermüller], 1775) were found. Faunistic records of 23 other species of Lepidoptera are also presented.
