Abstract

Calomicrus malkini Warchałowski, 1991 (Coleoptera: Chrysomelidae), a flavous galerucine hitherto known only from Turkey, has been secondly recorded from southern Turkey since its first description in 1991. A large population of the beetles, primarily dominated by females, was collected from Pistacia terebinthus L. (Anacardiaceae) and Quercus cerris L. (Fagaceae). The species is redescribed together with notes on its habitat and host plants.
