A new species and additional records of the genus Leptobium Casey (Coleoptera: Staphylinidae: Paederinae) from Central Anatolia

Abstract

In this paper, Leptobium turcicum from Ankara (Beypazarč±) province in central northern Anatolia, is described. Its diagnostic characters are illustrated and distinguished from related congeners. Additional records of three species of Leptobium from Turkey are reported. The genus is now represented in Turkey by 18 species, 13 of them are endemic.
